Why is the approach of multicultural innovation so important?
Learning how to leverage the diverse knowledge and ideas of multicultural teams is key to the success of virtually any organization or team. Without doubt, it is a required competency for leaders in today’s global business environments and in being better prepared for leading the increasingly diverse and inclusive workforce of the future. This workshop provides both a broad view into the key elements of multicultural innovation as well as the leadership skills required to leverage its powerful capabilities.
Research shows that culturally diverse teams are capable of innovating and solving problems at the highest levels when the right conditions exist. In Leading Multicultural Innovation students explore the characteristics and dynamics associated with these high performing teams and better understand the skills and knowledge needed to empower their potential. Improving multicultural leadership competence results in higher levels of innovation, creativity, and problem solving.

Leading and being a member of a high performing multicultural team requires a unique level of understanding and awareness that extends beyond the typical professional’s skill set.
This workshop provides the tools to develop higher levels of individual and team competence. Through interactive learning and dialogue, participants will identify behaviors and skills that enable higher levels of performance in multicultural teams. The skills of how to identify and assess leadership and team competencies that enable the power of multicultural teams, creating higher innovation returns and happier teams will be a focus for participants. This includes how to better identify personal and team strengths according to key performance indicators, diverse thinking and experiences, and develop strategies for greater alignment.
As a result of participating in the workshop, you will learn how to:

This workshop is provided online and consists of four weekly three-hour sessions. Each session is broken down into two 75-minute segments with a 15-minute break, followed by a 15-minute Q & A. Participants are also provided with weekly learning guides and the opportunity to connect with and engage with one another.
Interactive: weekly three-hour group sessions.
Applicable: Individualized coaching allows for the immediate strategic application of learning to their professional roles and challenges.
Community of Practice: Throughout the program, enrollees have the opportunity to participate in an ongoing cohort dialogue, exchanging ideas and learning with their fellow cohort members, exploring the timely use of their learning experience, and solving problems together.
